“Course restricted field” Ex Libris recommended standardizing this across the consortium but 2 Vanguard campuses already had conflicting data coming over in different fields. The group will assess any impacts on staff workflows and Primo for go-live

Brief level: the group is interested in seeing what workflows are impacted by the brief level setting and there were different experiences at current Alma campuses so 02 was selected as a test.

Working copy lock timeout: CARLI is using 4, several Alma campuses use the default value of 1. It might be helpful to have a longer lockout period during Vanguard in case campuses are actively testing a record or working on local training but this should be evaluated for go-live since there was discussion about 4 hours possibly having impacts on rush cataloging and other workflows.

9XX fields: since 9XX fields can be updated after migration and since it’s unclear what the advantage/disadvantage of standardizing these in the IZs would be, the group decided to leave them local for Vanguard and assess the impact for go-live
