As of January 2022, CDL staff is working with a combined/streamlined data migration cleanup spreadsheet:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1e5ev1GoWP2PomllV2751lhoKqQYt28uJKErW5CHdjh4/edit?usp=sharing

  • CDL staff are working on the tab labeled “ALL COMBINED”

    • Data from original cleanup spreadsheets (also found below) is preserved in separate tabs; consult the Legend tab for color-coding

  • CDL Acquisitions staff is determining whether collections records as migrated and activated are valid for the collections managed by CDL in the NZ. To determine whether CDLA staff have “signed off” on a particular NZ collection record, please consult columns D-H.

  • Collections labelled as “multi-part” or “multiple” are not yet eligible for verification and they remain suppressed. The process to determine how to handle these is ongoing, being managed through the SILS E-Resources Operations Subteam.

  • SCP staff are working with verified collections to determine whether cataloging is required; please consult columns N-P to watch the cataloging work.

  • CDL is continuing to test best practices for confirming portfolios attached to verified collection records. As those processes are refined and we have reconciled portfolios against known title lists, column J will be completed, followed by column P as SCP determines title-level cataloging needs vs CZ portfolio quality.

If you have questions about the effort to clean up NZ records from migration, please contact both Lisa Mackinder and Sherry Lochhaas at CDL.

This section pertains to clean up efforts prior to January 2022 and is preserved for informational purposes:

This page links out to CDL clean-up project spreadsheets from the migrated data sources (SCP/P2E, 360, and SFX), and by respective CDL teams. This spreadsheets may be consulted by campuses to ascertain shifts in e-inventory.
