For absences of a short duration such as a vacation or conference, mark your leave on the Vacations/Out page on Google shared drive. You may not invite a substitute to attend a meeting in your place.
For extended absences of three or more weeks, such as family leave or reduced hours, talk to your group co-chairschair(s) about the possibility of choosing a substitute for attending meetings and completing group work.
As a best practice, groups should record meetings to be shared with members who are absent; delete recordings after a reasonable amount of time for privacy reasons.
