UCM: only had 2-3 days so far. Most everything loaded correctly, just a few user errors. Multi-match ~111 rows; will look at that soon. Did what it was supposed to do.
UCSD: Noticed 2 things:
1 user error: historically had special collections record duplicates, and moved OCLC #s to keep out of NZ, but missed ~4000 records. When moratorium is lifted, will run a job to unlink from NZ and move to 977. Have the set ready to go.
1 ExL fault: UCSD wanted to convert just 856 40 into portfolios, but it looks like they converted ALL 856s into portfolios. Learning experience to find these.
UCSC: BSLW enrichments to records largely missing. Matching seems to be done with ISBN. Submitted Salesforce case. One record on multi-match report has record w/o valid OCLC # (holdings was suppressed, but bib wasn’t)
UCB can work with UCSC to upgrade NRLF stub records
Suggest following up with ExL or originating campus to troubleshoot. Suppressed bibs should have gone into NZ as suppressed, but ExL changed them to unsuppressed. (~2200 with this problem)
UCR also had issue with ExL adding suppressed records to NZ, even after being asked not to.
Some user error at UCLA that may explain: OCLC prefixes were updated to “suppressed”, but 019 was converted to 035 $z
Question about who is testing in NZ? Good example to argue for local campuses getting some NZ accounts. To look at duplicate detection, suppressed records that got in. CDL/SCP can run reports as needed.
Local discussion needed on SCP: will SCP records be deleted in production database prior to migration, or migrate them, and cleanup post-migration?
