Draft 2024-2025 UCL/UCOP report

We are attempting to shorten the review burden and timeline. The UCOP report came out earlier than last year.

Anna has deadline Friday 10/17 to provide rounded statistics for the UC Regents budget support.

Please send through any approval channels for campuses, any questions, comments and endorsements by EOD Oct 14, 2025.

ACRL and ARL reporting

1. Proposal: Reuse last year’s definitions (which resource types are used to answer each question); do not make changes based on FY24/25 preparation review decisions

2. Proposal: For ACRL, AASA-PT provides answers to only the collections- and usage-related questions; AASA-PT will not create ACRL survey templates for campuses or provide answers from purely non-ILS data sources

3. Question: should ACRL and ARL data be added to the existing UCL/UCOP report spreadsheet file, or should we create separate files, one for ACRL and one for ARL?

#1 Proposal to use last year’s definitions given staffing constraints at CDL. Previously planned to do analysis to promote harmonization but the time is not there.

ARL has not released their updated guidelines yet - but no changes are expected.

#2 To address staffing challenges. UC Berkeley does use data from the other entries in ACRL. Others are unsure so this will be an action item.
