Anna

For ACRL stats, no changes for definitions compared to last year. When difference btwn FY25 & FY24 is greater than 5%, explanation is provided. All campuses will see significant increase in e-resource count. A few summing errors from last year were detected. The identifying of ILL locations and equip locations resulted in a significant drop in circulation stats compared to last year.

Anna to share link to ACRL draft 2025 stats plus ACRL’s instruction sheets, asking AASA-PT to review by Nov 10, 2025, so she then can ask campus contacts for their review.

ARL stats

  • Review proposed changes to ARL volumes

    • should we use the same UCL/UCOP definition for volume count

  • ARL circulation definition

15

Anna

There is a difference in definition btwn UCOP & ARL for “volume,” affecting Qs 2 & 4. Q17: Some campuses were including ILL data in first-time circulation counts; others didn’t.

There is a tentative preference for simply using the UCL UCOP def for ARL stats.

Action to prepare comparative data by end of Nov 3, 2025, giving us 1 week to make an informed decision to go with the UCOP numbers.
