(DRAFT) Electronic Resources Practices - Linking IZ orders to relevant CDL e-collections (MVP-001)
For new orders/recharges:
CDL will determine the appropriate electronic collections bib records in the NZ to which participating UC campuses will attach POLs, licensing, etc.
CDL will identify any appropriate notes/codes needed in POL recharges
IZs will identify any appropriate notes/codes needed for CDL recharges with consideration for CDL’s record needs
Instructions
For migrating migrated (open, not closed or cancelled) orders/recharges:
Migrate as Other > Service
Post-migration: create a set that changes CDL recharges to Access Service to make it easier to know these are e-resources
Attach to appropriate the bib/resource record that CDL is using and add licensing information at point of renewal
