DISCOVERY VISION: We strive to design and implement the best possible discovery and delivery experience for our end users using data-driven decision making. We envision a network zone experience that will allow users to discover library materials across UC collections without sacrificing relevant results. As such, the default search and results interface should prioritize the success of typical users while providing additional functionality for more advanced users.

They will give us feedback by Feb. 10th		.

Questions remain about implications of using EasyActive does it turn on all collections in CDI, or all collections in Alma? how much control will we have over collection settings after they have been turned on in EasyActive? how cluttered will results be if all collections are turned on? workflow concerns for e-resources colleagues Most current Alma campuses default to turn on filter by availability; Irvine is the exception		Josephine:Reach out to Acquisitions & E-resources FG to share and discuss these details.

An official environmental scan is not needed; CDL will fully support our decision and help address faculty or individual campus concerns. Individual campuses will capture their WorldCat experiences during test load to document the possibilities of options in how to deal with a WorldCat scope.
