DISCOVERY VISION: We strive to design and implement the best possible discovery and delivery experience for our end users using data-driven decision making. We envision a network zone experience that will allow users to discover library materials across UC collections without sacrificing relevant results. As such, the default search and results interface should prioritize the success of typical users while providing additional functionality for more advanced users.

1	Updates			Josephine Jess Sarah	Will have PPC approve our BWCD Decision page this week. UC Libraries facet and full record display update: Jess' Basecamp question Ex Libris Speed test came back way slower than what was expected. CDL continues to watch. Sharon Reported searches getting hung up. Campuses also reported intermittent display failure for facets.		Josephine will take BWCD decision page to PPC. Jess is waiting to hear back from ExLibris to see if the institutional name can be changed in the Facets. She will also check with ExLibris on Order of Library holdings display in full record.
2	Follow up to SILS Town Hall 8/2 Mtg	Discuss topics that came up in Q&A		All	Ongoing maintenance of future enhancements. New Enhancement Requests System (NERS) requests. Two types of member consortial members (100 points combined) vs individual members points (100 per member). Some UC may have institutions may have both membership. There will be a systemwide process developed for UC NERS. Possibility of adding dissertations to Fetch It and ILL request Primo VE forms. Full fulfillment is looking at this issue and will report back to Jess.

Jess suggested that a Developer group should be put together to work on these. Sarah reported there was such a group being formed for January. Update on UCSC HT ETAS records. Job has been running since 7/28. UCSC is checking with ExLibris to determine how to proceed (continue running job, restart, etc.
4	Copyright statement on request forms	Gather opinions		All	August Primo VE Release Notes has a new option to add a copyright statement to Request forms. Have reached out to Fulfillment co-chairs for their opinion	Josephine will take this to PPC.
5	Check Ins	Discuss updates/problems/testing		All	Request ILL for Special Collections material. Can we suppress? GetIt links disappearing? Holdings failing to display in Detailed record view.
