DISCOVERY VISION: We strive to design and implement the best possible discovery and delivery experience for our end users using data-driven decision making. We envision a network zone experience that will allow users to discover library materials across UC collections without sacrificing relevant results. As such, the default search and results interface should prioritize the success of typical users while providing additional functionality for more advanced users.

2	UC Names			Jess	UCSC Dev working on JS to change and alphabetize names in UC Libraries facet group Level of effort for changing and alphabetizing UC holdings in full record much higher (and might not be possible) - how to prioritize that work? Discussion of desire to collapse UC library locations listed in the detailed record. There is custom code for collapsing locations within the record. There is code from UCD in our Google shared folder. Discussion of custom javascript producing technical debt and what the # sils-dev members would say about this custom js	Worth it to use the custom js to harmonize the libraries facet. 3	Direct Linking			All	DFG has not issued any recs around direct linking Both CDL and AEFG folks have been against it when it's come up. Should we issue a recommendation around this? See AEFG’s decision page -		Discuss direct linking at your local campus
4	Print Requests from eBook records			All	Some users need/want to request the print version of a book we have electronically (eg. accessibility, preference, etc.) Probably a very local decision as ILL policies around this might vary Idea sharing - anyone doing this currently? What are you doing? Is it working well? Many are using the comments section of ILL form to address this issue, depending if their ILL will even perform this request. Some point to blank ILL request form. Issues & feedback from users Discussion of monitoring of online reference questions about UC Library Search. UCR is monitoring and the questions are tailing off. Some campuses are tagging online questions as being about UC Library Search.
