DISCOVERY VISION: We strive to design and implement the best possible discovery and delivery experience for our end users using data-driven decision making. We envision a network zone experience that will allow users to discover library materials across UC collections without sacrificing relevant results. As such, the default search and results interface should prioritize the success of typical users while providing additional functionality for more advanced users.

Speed Issue is still being monitored; is getting better but still slow. S.Shafer submitted BC an SF ticket re: slowness with Browse (extremely slow.) 3	Searchable fields in Primo			All	From Shi Deng (SCP): UC Chinese bibliographers met last Friday and they tried to figure out how to search just databases in Primo, the advanced search doesn't have this option. I thought that they could search 930 "CDL licensed databases", CDL title hook for electronic resources CDL/SCP managed. I tried UC Library Search for all campuses, none of them have set 930 a searchable field. Would you please bring to Discovery group to configure campus search for 930 field?	Would like to learn more about bibliographers' use case. Clarify “databases” (article databases, ebook databases…) UCLA has added fields within advanced search. Up to 50 fields can be added. Many campuses direct users to an A-Z database list outside of PrimoVE. UCI follows a different process for exporting records from Alma an A-Z list. May meet needs by generating a list through Alma Analytics.	Disco FG Chairs will reach out to Shi Deng to clarify request. May also contact Chinese Bibliographers CKG (if exists.)
