DISCOVERY VISION: We strive to design and implement the best possible discovery and delivery experience for our end users using data-driven decision making. We envision a network zone experience that will allow users to discover library materials across UC collections without sacrificing relevant results. As such, the default search and results interface should prioritize the success of typical users while providing additional functionality for more advanced users.

2	PPC’s feedback on 930 decision				(Go Live) Make the 930 Field Searchable in Primo PPC feedback: how does this interact with our catalog processes. Jess will reach out to RMFG to get the background info on that. RMFG feedback: asked about the 973 fields (info about local packages). For those who want 973 searchable (and the 930), would we recommend that they are mapped together to search in 1 place as “package name”? Davis plans to move info out of 973 to e-collections. We don’t really know the use cases well enough to answer RMFG’s question. Berkeley: Procedures haven’t been figured out on how to handle requests for local fields being indexed. 973 are local fields and local campuses and should campuses figure this out themselves? Or does Discovery FG need to “endorse” this.		@Jess Waggoner reach out to Liz at RMFG with our questions.
3	Finalize Restrict Resource Sharing Restriction Rules by Location decision			All			Need to get campus contacts in place (can send to PPC without this piece in place, keep a placeholder there) everyone email the group on contact info
4	FRBR & Dedup Discussion			Jess	RMFG to create the FRBR suppression rule and then contact CDL to coordinate testing in the NZ Sandbox. Looks like music is working in our testing, so we need to reach out to the music experts to test. Test Law materials next, with Sean working on it for their law materials, since this would be by location. Will need to work on art books in the future		@Jess Waggoner talk with Chizu and Ellen to reach out to music people. @Jess Waggoner send music examples to the group to pass on to local music experts as well.
