EUNS

2nd meeting held yesterday. Still some disagreement for the COUL deadline, but have next steps for the next week of work. Have a methodology around concept mapping, people will bring in concepts to the next meeting.

Informal collaborative brainstorming session being held today.

A later arrival on an EUNS / COULS decision than late February starts being of concern for the EUO based on breaks.

EUO messaging should be geared towards people who aren’t aware of catalog basics.

For the next EUO meeting, do we want to talk through concept mapping? Sounds like to a small extent - updates for now.

Graphic Designer

How contingent on the name is the graphic designer position?

For EUNS - prior to the start of this group, there were 2 major paths for naming (Discovery layer vs eco-system). That has consolidated to the eco-system (may also end up being the discovery name). Current understanding is that every campus is on board for using a shared name.

Public-facing website doesn’t allow for graphics to a large extent. They are switching to wordpress, but it will be too late to really be applicable for this project.

Emails seem to be the largest point for graphic design work.

@Neil Weingarten@Caitlin Nelson check with Lena and Christine - do graphics related to the system name need further approval past EUO?
@Caitlin Nelson to start discussion about scope of Discovery tool name vs Ecosystem name on the premise of not having two names.
