New PM chat

Get on the same page about PM transition

Team

What do we want:

  • Clear direct liaison with other PMs, PM should should be relaying project-level dependencies / timeline, and helping connect the dots.

  • We meet with ComLeads already - we have that lateral channel (monthly). They don’t have a PM, right?

  • IT and EUOS don’t really have overlap, so TOC didn’t need a PM - we have more overlap with ComLeads.

  • Will it be any kind of conflict to have Joanna as a member AND as a PM.

    • It’s valuable to have a clear outside perspective, rather than trying to wear two hats at different times.

  • It would be easier to replace a UCSF rep on the team, than to replace a PM. So we’d keep Joanna as just PM and not as rep.

  • For health of project and diversity of thinking, as well as focusing on liaison duties it would be better to have Joanna as just PM.

Agreed to a Jan deadline. Group is largely in favor of one name.

Timeline

Primo instance delivered - what does that mean? When can they start screencapping / creating teaching materials? MVP Primo that they can use.

Discovery FG question: When will the MVP decisions at each campus be made on scope, facets, etc such that EUOS can be creating teaching materials? How unique will the Primo VE be for each campus? vs how uniform → this will determine EUOS division of work.

@Caitlin Nelson to get a question over to Discovery about coordinating timeline / deliverables.
