Unpacking of multiple workflows Success Criteria Streamlined/standard UC Processes, fewer issues/complaints There are issues at a few different levels, most having to do with change and difference in capabilities. Concerns Alma Knowledge Group productivity It might be helpful to have a shared place to store training documents or workflows so that we can compare across campuses or discuss. Complexity of workflows across campuses Excited Increasing user satisfaction, stimulating Alma knowledge while maximizing operational efficiency through collaboration across UC’s This group is very excited to learn from each other.

| UCSB’s network went down last month. They were circulating offline. Question came up around AFN items circulated offline. It’s unclear how the offline fulfillment utility will resolve AFN items. It seems like it “should” handle these items just fine. Standardizing “Claims Returned” item processes could be a future agenda item. |

| NRLF is trying to solve an issue between Alma and Caia. There’s no workaround to handle these requests as they get stuck in the system. There was a discussion from Phase 4 around Reading Rooms and how that functioned in Alma. One of the campuses (UCR?) might have put in an EXL request around this. This comes into play when there are library use only resource sharing items. Update: NRLF issue temporarily solved. There are about 750 requests being supplied, this will take a while. One “contaminated” request stopped the others from moving forward. The root cause is unknown.
|
| Add library use only items and relevant configurations to the agenda. |
