Joanna

Report from last Thursday () and Tuesday meetings () and ask any questions for Thursday

  • Ongoing: UCSC will be the environment for UCR/UCI/UCSC Alma training, TBD environment for Primo VE training

Here is the place that Marci created to post the notes in Basecamp: https://3.basecamp.com/3765443/buckets/15553579/documents/3393606161

Each campus has its own space for notes:
1 - 5 March 2021: MERCED Alma Workshop
Here are the notes ExL notes from Jan 19 with more info:
If there’s a questions that can’t be answered during the workshops, how to get those answered? (What’s the best pathway to take so the questions don’t get lost?)

  • From the Expectations section from the agenda: “the project manager or designated library project member will record action items for later follow-up”.

  • The EXL representative/workshop lead will provide our team some - but it’s critical that you have a UCS representative capture action items. (IT reps will decide who will record actions.) As to how to share the notes and action items across all teams, I would advise using both your Confluence and Basecamp. I can set up a place with meeting notes for each of the workshops in the Project meeting Notes folder on Basecamp.

    • Tip to capture answers for questions that are answered during the demo: give the timestamp of where the answer starts in the recording.

    • How to move questions/answers from Basecamp to Confluence? Could link out from SILS confluence to local campus sites. Not everyone has access to Basecamp and don’t want to lose questions/answers and have a way to follow up.

Questions for Ex Libris

  • None at this time, but send to Joanna or post to Basecamp if something comes up.

We’ll Demo using basecamp during IT meeting tomorrow.
