Co-chairs update

The priority for this week’s Ops Leads meetings (Tuesday and Thursday) is on opening Confluence.

2

(Ops Leads) Preparing to open Confluence to the public

Discuss and decide:

  • Do we leave the listserv and the slack channel on the group pages once we make the pages public?

  • Other?

5

  • Neil and Adrian discussed this. Cons: The links to the listervs could get used for phishing or scams.

  • The group itself knows this information.

  • If the listservs are available, will people email groups directly?

Remove listserv and slack info from Confluence - Delete Group Communication section.

@Christine Barone (Unlicensed) and @Lena Zentall (Unlicensed) will create communications sheet with listserv and slack channel and put on cohort drive
3

Discuss at IC meeting and bring recommendation by June 9.

4

(Ops Leads) Ongoing checkin

  1. Is anything blocked or behind schedule?

  2. What deliverables are coming in the next week?

  3. Any decisions, consultations or approvals needed in the next week?

  4. Do you need anything?

All

  • Ben: Communication flows diagram is in the works. Ben will demo the Confluence site for WG on Friday (decisions made about moving communications offline, decision to not restrict any content)

  • Adrian: Working on Google comment form.

  • Neil:

    • IT is reviewing training list by Friday. IC’s are reviewing it on Thursday. Neil recommends all PPC members become Alma certified and Primo certified. Goal is one person per FG at minimum. Strongly recommend taking the test. Where will the training list live? On Google shared drive since it’s aimed at the cohort.

    • Neil has created the basic training which will be linked from the Confluence home page, aimed at UC libraries staff audience. Advanced training coming soon.

    • Network zone training document is in the works and will be done by June 1 wiki opening.

  • Caitlin:

    • Working with Ex Libris to flesh out the timeline and deliverables. Third party integrations form is due to Ex Libris this Friday for the Vanguard campuses.

    • Upcoming decision on order of populating the Network zone.

    • UC Davis Law amendment is signed and done. The first one-third payment for implementation fees for SILS has been submitted for payment by OP.

@Neil Weingarten will finish Network Zone training overview and Advanced training.
@Adrian Petrisor will create the google form for comments
@Adrian Petrisor will edit new home page to remove Best Practices, and change Policies and Procedures to Shared Governance and Decisions.
