RMFG: settling in to a biweekly schedule, starting to pick up some of our “within 6 months” items and finding that a lot have been started; also finding tons of things we need to tweak or address, which is to be expected. Jobs are running longer; issues with migration and linking; data cleanup; had to fix rules within 48 hours. Planning to open their study halls up to entire UC.

AEFG: E-Resources Subgroup taking off for Outbound Linking - first weekly session 8/3. Outbound Linking “explainer” presentation recording sent out via ICs for broader distribution beyond cohort. FG starting to resume MVP discussion, post-go-live items; some of it hinges on CDL work as well. Assessing additional “drop-in” sessions to support operational questions. Lisa and Carla met with TSELG on 8/5 to discuss Analytics.

Discovery: Are problems with Primo VE being referred back to the group? Hearing reports that sometimes users get the “diamonds are forever”. Sometimes refreshing the page helps. From chat: logout/login, clearing cache.

Fulfillment: Some campuses have not turned on AFN. Knowing this before go live helped, so this hasn't been an issue. Also, during summer the number of requests is down overall which also helps. Working through kinks as they come up.

DCFG: We’re working on a roadmap for the remaining months.

SILS Ops: We’re working on a more detailed plan for what we do and what we don’t do. Will want to check in with PPC next week for sure. We’re also seeing a lot of people reaching out directly to us, but maybe it bears checking with various FGs first? Not sure how we want to handle that. From chat: and that goes back to reminding people to review earlier decision pages and a "check confluence" first.

PPC MVP document

SILS Ops document will propose a timeline as follows:

Oct-Jan: learn how to work with new ExL Support people
Jan-Apr: Learn to work with the new SILS gov structure
Apr: whew

What is the frequency of PPC meetings going forward? Leave the meeting on the books, check in on Wednesdays (like we currently do) and cancel meetings as necessary.

Previously, the copyright statement opened on a separate page after sending a resource sharing or digitization request. With the enhancement released in Aug. 2021, the copyright statement will now appear on the form and its associated check box must be selected prior to sending the request.
