Free OCLC reclamation

Discuss any initial thoughts/strong feelings from campuses

WorldCat Updates and non-Gobi shelf-ready

5 mins

Do any of the existing shelf-ready agreements prohibit adding enhancements to the OCLC record?

Is the goal to keep the enhancements locally or to add them to OCLC?

Quick fix: If your campus has records that should be excluded from WorldCat Updates, you can use normalization rule “allUC Protect NZ bib from overlay” to add field 903 Exclude from WorldCat Daily Updates.

Discussion with continue at future meetings.
