2 | ETD workflow in Alma/Primo |
| 30 min | Lisa | Current process: Campus Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETD) Metadata Practices CDL envisioning that workflow moving forward, ETD app will create MARC record and send that to SILS, where campuses will update record as needed, and changes will flow back from SILS to ETD app Where does OCLC records and holdings fit into this process? Maybe try to get a process in place first, then deal with deduplication Possible to make an exception, load the MARC records in Alma first, then send to OCLC/add holdings? When ISBN is assigned to the ProQuest record, there’s a second step process to query and update the record with the ISBN Do we need records for permanently embargoed ETDs? |
