UCSD: are other having issues with unwanted deduping in Primo? You can set up conditions but the config must also be done in the NZ for NZ-linked records. You can also ask CDL to run a job on a set of records but that seems like overkill for just two records.

UCLA:

  • Learned this week that the bound-with linking job (MMS - Build Record Relations) won’t work if your host bibliographic record has an 035 field!

  • Looking into our digital library content that comes into Primo via DPLA via Calisphere… but without the subjects?

UCI: how are other campuses dealing with print CalDocs?

  • Many campuses are not adding to the print collection anymore but still have them on shelf

  • Getting an error when trying to put note into POL with embedded order data

UCB: Procedures for cataloging in braille: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1I2aT5uGx2SK8PTnPnT-NuI44fqNcC8jz/view

  • Shows up as an accessibility facet (currently testing in sandbox)

@Adam Baron will forward email from UCB’s dedupe investigation

6XX added to the removal of non-UC $5 fields in allUC Normalization #1 and allUC Normalization #2 in the Sandbox

  • Does this help better with navigation?

Can anything else be marked as DONE?

Is anything missing? Should anything from agenda parking lot be added to workplan? Is there anything on the Roadmap that we want to incorporate?

Should anything be dropped/put on hold?

What are our priorities for this year? Expected completion dates?

@Catherine Busselen will add discussion of AI enhanced cataloging best practices to work plan
