Locate profile changes:

Alison mentioned that they appear to be challenging.

Scott mentioned that requests were rejected in a few minutes and skipped the UC rota and went to directly to WorldShare .

Linda Michelle mentioned that she saw requests do a similar thing at Irvine, confirming what Scott said.

Sabrina mentioned locations not being needed to be mentioned in the form request from patrons.

Linda Michelle indicated the individual pick up locations are there and available for patrons to select.

Sabrina mentions that locations exist but are not required.

Changes within Primo have happened. Update occurred as well. Possibly this is part of the issue with failures. Discovery update may have caused this.

Rota may be failing because there is not a resource sharing pick up location designated by the patron.

It may be failing because of another reason, however.

Was the location required previously?

New default to blank pick up location may be the issue.

Jason shared screen and mentioned that the patron form seems to have changed. Others agree that it looks different. It’s possible that the new form and/or what the patron choses for location is causing the problems.

Patrick mentioned that requiring the location be mandatory for patrons to select has helped at UCB.

Jason opened Resource Sharing Form in Alma.

Jason ran a test of requesting a book title.

Scott suggested cancelling in the rota. Request routed to SRLF initially. After cancelling, request routed to Merced which is positive.

UCD requires a default resource sharing library.  Other UCs mentioned that is not required at their locations.

Having a default resource sharing library may help cure the issue.
