UCSC ‘guest spot’: ask UCSC for more framing

decide yes/no/maybe invite UCSC’s proposed ‘guest spot’

10

Mallory

benefits:

more ability for campuses with fewer human resources to participate

boundaries:

no decision making done in subgroup (proposals & decisions sent to main RS OST)

just for ‘phase 1’ of RS Analytics PT

Run proposal by larger RS OST for yes/no

@Sandra Farfan-Gracia Run UCSC guest spot proposal by larger RS OST for yes/no
3

set requirements for borrowing report

@Alison Ray (CDL) add two borrowing request status to borrowing count filter: “request completed” & “Deleted” NZ report Jun 30, 2022

@Linda Michelle Weinberger find param for uci law vs langsan etc

@Alison Ray (CDL) make sums for digi & physical for sched c report Jul 11, 2022

Alison

is borrowing report ready to get feedback from RS OST?

Do other sites need to split libraries within institution?

go ahead & preview to RS OST & ask if other campuses need to split within institution (eg. law vs not-law)

next step: distribution of reports (widget?)

@Alison Ray (CDL) put on RS OST agenda go ahead & preview rs analytics borrowing reports to RS OST & ask if other campuses need to split within institution (eg. law vs not-law) Jul 21, 2022

lending stats

@Alison Ray (CDL) attempt to make lending counts in fulfillment area, “match” with lending count borrowing standing on head Jul 11, 2022

Alison

logistically getting onto monthly UC/Exl support meeting: July 18 or Aug 15

escalate ticket with ExL inside salesforce & send note to UC side of ExL/UC meeting

‘reversed engineered lending report’ pathway

  • finalize report → wait for final borrowing report

  • figure out distribution method for this year

    • what format should SOC export report?

    • where should those reports be dropped? (google drive - not another option)

@Alison Ray (CDL) esclate RS analytics lending case & FYI to UC side of ExL/UC meeting Jul 15, 2022

IZ Analytics Settings

what sorts of settings are impacting Analytics? (as opposed to workflows in Alma IZ)

(if time…)

Anonymization docs from ExL:
Anonymizing Analytics Reports Details - hides contents of ppi user fields in analytics (data still exists, reversible)
configuring fulfillment anonymization job - remove borrower name & id from transaction history (data scrubbed, not reversible)

SUNY guide ('clean up' jobs & ‘remove request' steps may put requests into ‘deleted’ status):
https://slcny.libguides.com/training-resource-sharing/maintenance

seems to put requests in ‘deleted’ status in Alma → configured per IZ; Alma options to run weekly

6

Wrap up

Review actions and decisions

next meeting (28th)

project checkin (timing, take extension??)

go over feedback from RS OST 27th

alison give any updates about escalation

7

Parking Lot

Capture important topics for future discussion

since ‘standing on head’ would have to be run by SOC (CDL), how would data/report results be distributed?

dates (maybe later) → by months for reports
