Update from Implementation Coordinators | Understand future process for submitting questions to ExLibris and Implementation Coordinators Understand how IC decisions will be noted and tracked | 10 min | Questions that should go directly to ExL can be entered directly into BaseCamp. Catherine now has access and can add those questions. Marcia will also be given access. Catherine went to the IC meeting yesterday to discuss the process. She will continue to send to the ICs and the SILS list. The ICs will also add their decisions to their Decision page in Confluence We have a pre-migration ExL rep until June 15th. After that, we get our official migration project manager so some of our questions might not be able to be answered until then. Some recommendations could change or will have to wait until then. | |||
Review ExLibris Migration Guides and Document Data Cleanup Aspects | Review and update Voyager spreadsheet Begin review and update of Millennium spreadsheet | 50 min | All | Prereads: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Alma/Implementation_and_Migration/Migration_Guides_and_Tutorials/Voyager_to_Alma_Migration_Guide (Kevin Balster Catherine Busselen ) https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Alma/Implementation_and_Migration/Migration_Guides_and_Tutorials/Millennium_and_Sierra_(III)_to_Alma_Data_Delivery_and_Migration_Guide (Cathleen Lu Eileen Pinto (Unlicensed) Ryan Finnerty Kathleen Garvey-Clasby (Unlicensed) ) | Marcia recommends that any data that affects circulation (e.g. call numbers, barcodes), you want to have clean by the go-live date. The whole physical to electronic process (P2E) is going to be a huge issue for migration. Do we need a separate group to look at the P2E process? Probably yes. Might also be helpful to reach out to other consortia to see what they did when they migrated. The WRLC libraries were mostly Voyager so they would be good to ask Until we know how we are going to load vendor data, we might want to hold off on cleaning anything up. EDI might be a low priority Possibly opt to not migrate older course records. |

Updates to be aware of from other groups and/or campuses | Create awareness around work/discussions that may inform or impact our work | 15 min | All | A new special collections CKG has been formed and they will probably want to be informed about SILS data migration. There is a sandbox available with two IZs and one NZ. Talk to your IC and see if they can give access. |
