DISCOVERY VISION: We strive to design and implement the best possible discovery and delivery experience for our end users using data-driven decision making. We envision a network zone experience that will allow users to discover library materials across UC collections without sacrificing relevant results. As such, the default search and results interface should prioritize the success of typical users while providing additional functionality for more advanced users.

UCI - Test Load needed to be reloaded in 2018; contingency planning worked as designed.
How much EZ-Active will ultimately effect experience. CDI and EZ-Active is still unknown until we see what is happening. e.g, sometimes searching for known items can result in duplicate records especially for ebooks.
How much initial feedback, questions, concerns at initial rollout?

Still questions about SCP, Jared Campbell is keeping his eyes and ears open for any more news and will shared when more is known. SCP is part of many different Functional Groups.
UCSC - Based on usability testing, users were confused about Request and how long it takes to fulfill requests. Custom code to provide custom messaging books vs articles. Temporary removed message for books.
Users still need to have their barcodes “activated” in their library accounts even though they no longer need to use them to login and make ILL Requests.
Course Reserves - ebooks not showing up in

UCSC also utilizes a more heuristic approach as well to identify and receive feedback.
