4 | Future kickoffs | Do we envision kickoffs happening with the next cohort? If so, should we do a survey of what worked/didn’t work in the kickoffs to inform future kickoffs? Would our slides be a reference or would the future kickoffs be very different? After the kickoff, what was the experience of teams? Did they seem lost? overwhelmed? mostly OK? Did anyone comment on the kickoff? See also agenda item 6 | 10 | Christine | I think 18 months is too far away to determine what the structure will be -- I see a greatly scaled down structure for consortia as they settled into new system. Maybe all chairs responsibility? One centralized kickoff for all groups (such as an orientation) is an option, then rely on chairs to get their newbies up and running. May not be much turnover since there aren’t a lot of people at campuses who can fulfill the roles. More people at campuses will be familiar with SILS and how things work. Onboarding/off-boarding instructions are fabulous!
| No need to do a survey since things may be very different in 18 months | |
5 | Post mortem | Do a brief post mortem with TTF | 30 | Lena & Christine | | | |
6 | Final checkin with teams | As a final checkin, is there value in doing a survey to the cohort asking what are you still confused about? Where do you need more information? Do you have all the resources you need? | 5 | Christine | Survey is overkill. Send it as an email. Be clear it’s about the transition and not the ongoing operational issues which should go through your chair, etc. Operations Team reps could take a role in looking at how SILS is rolling out operationally at their institution and identify support needed.
