• AFN Consortial and cash limit block testing has been concluded. The team generated a summary of findings and questions that will be discussed in both F OST and RS OST.

• Team is also working on reviewing and harmonizing hold notices text.

ACQ OST

• Keeping up with CDLNZPT updates

• discussions about various styles of managing fund structure, reporting needs, CDL recharge processes, etc.

RM CMOS

• Have a crossover group with some RM folks and members of the East Asian Studies Alma group to confirm our next steps for CJK and talk about some longer term options

  • Plan now is to move forward with HK setting for the semi-annual default ExL May index.

  • Then talk about longer-term changes: we have some influence with HK colleagues.

  • Current draft decision page: CJK Indexing Changes in Alma

• Updating our work plan priorities for Jan-Jun

• Releasing new versions of norm and merge rules in January to address some fields we no longer need/want

RS OST

• RS Analytics subteam moving forward investigating ‘user statistical categories’ to close data gap for digital AFN requests

• Tipasa transition encountering some hiccups with Alma integration. Likely requiring development on OCLC side.

ERES

• Establishing a Steering Committee to help cover Vice-Chair responsibilities during Tamara’s maternity leave

ExL recognized inappropriate change to the CJK request without discussing with UC first. Implemented HK version without consulting.

ExL Closing tickets rapidly and without full communication. They are asking for an impact statement when these are being closed faster or without expected outcomes being met. This way ExL support has documentation and leverage to push back on development if needed.

Tom and Caitlin have an action from OT to update the (Phase 4 Archive) Report an Alma / Primo VE Problem page with examples of “good” impact statements.

First step is the identification part of this: Chairs of groups + SILS Ops to go through and identify pages that need to be brought up from the archive.

SILS Ops Center and the OSTs (and the OT) will review pages from the archive and pull them up to current confluence DocHub as needed.

Staff turnover comes up in July, so thinking ahead to what those procedures will be. Also thinking about cleanup / prep that would be appropriate.

Support for ELUNA and eCAUG event attendance?

Identify, if possible, any possible methods to support and encourage UC Attendance to ELUNA and eCAUG events.

Would it be possible to find some $ centrally to encourage people to attend? How to encourage campuses to support their folks to attend?

LG: Leadership Group is interested in something like this, but isn’t a deciding group for pooling money /making this happen. So is this a possibility? Maybe, it would be an ask from AllChairs, to OT, to LG, to DOC, etc.

It would be useful to establish some guidance to campuses on sending folks (e.g. it’s useful to send multiple people because ELUNA is so big).

•  Caitlin Nelson can check on MPI money for travel, but it’s likely expired.
•  Tamara Pilko to put out a call to SILS_Cohort about who might be willing to help write a one-pager guidelines for attending ELUNA / eCAUG
