Liz and Sarah are meeting with Ben and Adrian on the communications team to get input on how things are going. Specifically we’ll be talking about:

• How do you communicate your group’s initiatives and milestones within the cohort vs. UC Libraries vs. a general audience?

  • Members use SILS Confluence documents and recordings to link to local groups

• How you feel about the feedback you’re receiving, both within the cohort and from UC campuses through group representatives?

• Are you pleased with your group’s Confluence space as a communications tool?

  • Confluence has been fine, but limited access to Basecamp is a bit challenging

  • Would be helpful to have the calendar shared

  • Basecamp allows schedule to be exported but dates might be changing

  • Can management of the schedule be more centralized?

Training sessions: first emails went out this week, how are things going with your local teams/reps?

• A bit confusing whether training is only limited to those testing for Vanguard

• Current training Q&A sessions will be recorded

• How are folks determining what their Alma “libraries” are? Library/location codes, etc.

  • Decision will affect filter/searching for later

  • UCSB considering changing Special Collections to a new “library”

  • UCD has 4-5 libraries, and locations within those libraries

  • Can set search scope for sublocations in Primo, but may be easier to designate collection as a library
