Liz:

  • All-chairs discussed new structure for sharing policies/practices (“pnp” pages and decision pages). See this starter sample: https://uc-sils.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/dochub/overview

  • Ops is also charging 2 new project teams: one to tackle OA resources and another to help alleviate some of the backlog in CDL Acq

  • UCSD is slowly updating our analytics procedures. Item call numbers in Alma are causing some issues

  • Somewhat tangential but I’m stepping down as SCS co-chair in October (staying on as a member). We’ll need 1 new member since we have someone rotating off so if you know anyone (smile)

Hermine (UCLA)

  • We will be getting our own ELUNA membership.

  • Working on a lot of documentation review and revision locally. There is an appetite for a good centralized page for UC RM policies.

UCSC got deletes from streamlined holdings project and most of them are not in their catalog. Reviewing the rest.

UCB local RM group is reviewing how MARC fields should display in Primo. Working with Discovery group, things may potentially come up systemwide.

UCB discovered that corrected “illegal alien” FAST headings reverted back to uncorrected term. Could be Alma authority control that flipped it back.
