Some items, such as Special Collections & Archives materials, cannot be shared via intercampus sharing. However, it is still desirable to include these items in the Discovery Network so they can be surfaced by users at other campuses. Items from these restricted locations should not display the Resource Sharing (“Request through Interlibrary Loan” link) by working with CDL to add these locations as restricted in the NZ.
Decision
Campuses should identify locations that hold materials not available for intercampus sharing but are still desirable to include in the Discovery Network. These locations should be added to the NZ list of restricted locations.
