IT Next Steps
Once we have the agenda, we will need to:

  • determine which campus can host the zoom sessions

  • assign hosts for each session

  • write a welcome script for hosts

Katie and Dominique will put together a sample agenda with times and send out for approval at the IT meeting on the 30th. After that we can send registration form and formal agenda.

We will determine the “host campus” at the June 30th meeting.

How did go live go (specifically related to training)? Are there training gaps that need to be filled?

“get it at UC” not showing up yet has been confusing to some people. This is being worked on, expecting it within the first month

questions about SPC CDL records. Would it be useful for our group to ask their group to address this?

There’s some difficulty training in some areas (esp tech services) because everyone’s work is so specialized. Maybe we need to reopen the tech services open house idea. Or connect people across campuses

  • previous alma campuses are so deep in go live work that it may not be possible to find people who can help right now

  • if someone wanted to email questions, to get set up with an “expert” or have a 15 min zoom session that would probably work best

Do we know anything about how confluence and best practices are going to work in the next phase of SILS?

  • should we say that we’re not accepting workflows after a certain point? - ideally we could just transition these things out to the next person in charge
