2 | Walk-through of FY2023-2024 UCL/UCOP report file |
| Anna | FY22/23 provided for reference. Page numbers forthcoming. Resource sharing has a deadline of 12/6. FY2023-2024 tab provides a high-level summary. Green & red font text not going to be included in final version. Each campus tab contains a table of contents. Below that is a high-level snapshot of last year’s and this year’s data. ACRL, ARL, UCOP data all provided. Print monographs (only) is included in response to question 40A for ACRL. Print serial volumes got included last year, but are being dropped this year. (We had followed ARL/UCOP definition last year.) Question: Which definition should we use for Q40A this year? Should we have systemwide decision, or let each campus make independent decision? A couple of us spoke up for a systemwide decision. Action: We will check in on this question at next meeting, to make a decision. Question: Is the campus snapshot a good entry point for those asked to review the statistics? Campuses providing microform holdings counts did not provide separate totals for a titles count. Same for pictorial items. The file “Attempt on ACRL Stats FY 2022-2023“ underwent changes between Jan-Apr, so reliance of the data in it is iffy. Decision: File that get deprecated should be labeled as such. Within each campus summary tab is a number of tab that one can un-hide. Those include non-ILS data additions and subtractions. Who has access to the data we were reviewing today? All of our committee has edit capability. We have concern about inadvertent data changes. View-only access may not provide ability to un-hide tabs. Decision: Let everyone with link have viewer access. This will facilitate the review of the data. Still need a decision on whether to include withdrawal stats this year. | |
