Identified significant gaps in Springer records received from GOBI
Instead of annual reconciliations, will complete reconciliations quarterly
GOBI catalogers are given 30 days to catalog English titles and 45 days for non-English titles
Expect 2 month delay from when titles are available on Springer platform before the records are available in UC Library Search
Shi Deng Notify campuses with holdings on the updated MARCIVE records
UCSC, UCSF, UCLA, UCR Local notes in NZ have been resolved; UCB has batch updated local notes where they are the only campus, but still needs to resolve local notes where other campuses also have holdings
UCLA & UCB have asked Casalini to stop adding 590s to their shelf-ready records.
UCB has asked Backstage to add 590s with $9 LOCAL in their shelf-ready records.
TOC continuation 590s. Investigation of example record (OCLC #47869352) that loaded after the 9/19/23 WorldCat Update: confirmation that the 590 is in the WorldCat Update file. Ticket has been filed with OCLC.
