To Do For Go-Live

All

Test suspending AFN lending using UCB; NZ can remove other institutions from rota for the 27th.

Set to inactive in NZ by tomorrow those suspended.

(Go-Live)Alma “On Hold Shelf Letter”:

Any word on Courier service?

-Campuses are working on getting the “On Hold Shelf Letter” set up.

-The option to inactivate the AFN at go-live is an option for those campuses that need more time.

-This letter is important because it specifies pickup locations and process for AFN items.

-This page may need to be re-worked to reflect a policy decision.

(Go-Live) Coordination with CDL and OCLC During Migration:

  • Approved

(Go-Live) Temporary Changes to the AFN for Libraries/Services Closed During Covid:

  • Approved

  • Group approved (Go-Live) Coordination with CDL and OCLC During Migration decision.

  • Group approved (Go-Live) Temporary Changes to the AFN for Libraries/Services Closed During COVID.

  • Jason will make some changes to the “On Hold Shelf Letter” form.

Batch process to remove WSILL borrowing requests.

Concerns raised about API key security. What are the options?

Keys received for UCI, UCLA, UCSB, UCR, UCM.

All

Joe has received read/write keys from five campuses.

There are some questions about management of the API keys long term.

Currently there is no CDL policy regarding the management of these keys.

An alternative method exists: Manually batch cancelling WSILL requests or doing so individually.

If campuses want this to be automated CDL needs a read/write key.

  • Campuses should check the status of their key to make sure that it’s set to read/write or send it to Joe Ferrie if they want the process to be automated.

My ILL Link in Primo

Can we get a recommendation decision page started to pass to Discovery FG?

(Post-Go-Live) My ILL Button in Primo

  • Has any campus already identified a place for this button to live? Already Alma campuses?

  • Our desired placement for the button

  • Could be investigated post-go-live

  • Finalized decision page after investigation from Discovery FG should include any configuration instructions (if something can be set up of course), so other campuses can do their own configuration if desired.

All

-Put this on the agenda for our next meeting and discuss how to implement this after go-live.

6

Handling Patron Account Issues

Can we get a decision page started that formalizes our decisions on how to handle visiting UC patrons when their accounts are blocked, expired, etc.?

(Go-Live) Handling UC Patron Account Issues

  • Due date for this page should be July 27th

All

Do we need a contact list?

What proof of ID is required?

-This will be discussed at a future meeting.

Group Testing w/ ILL Ops

AFN Alternate Pickup Location Issue- All Campuses https://3.basecamp.com/3765443/buckets/15553579/messages/3864854967

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YSeipVTugrgfvMjVsohNJWQk4oaIAnIz/edit

All

Item was requested from UC Davis and theoretically went to NRLF. There may be a delay.

It appears that Berkeley will show up in the ROTA for items that are held by NRLF and need to be cancelled twice if the item can’t be supplied.

Trying this again with a request from UCLA. It looks like the ROTA is working as expected, except for NRLF. Elizabeth will test this with SRLF specifically.

-ILL Ops tested this earlier. The problem was filling in information in the volume field.

(Note: UCB resource sharing partner is currently set to inactive, so UCB should not appear on any rota.)
