| 3 | Unlinking spec coll records from NZ | Randy Brandt | Discussion about some campuses will unlink their spec coll records from NZ to protect them from being overwritten by other campuses loading first. This was proposed by Spec Coll cataloging CKG. Berkeley may be the first to load. Decision not yet finalized. There is one more final vote today. Not linking records to NZ does not actually prevent discovery in the NZ, but records may be harder to find and/or duplicated. UCLA and UCR are going to go ahead and link their records and see what is lost. | ||||
