Recommendation

Any rules, import profiles, templates, or sets added to the NZ should use the following naming conventions:

  • If the item is meant to be shared/used across the system the name should start with “allUC”

  • If the item is in the NZ but specific to a campus, it should start with the campus initials (ex: UCLA, UCSB, etc.)

Reasoning

“allUC” will file first and also is less likely to be accidentally selected in a drop down list when all of the campus names start with UC. It also will stay relevant after the SILS governance structure changes at the end of Phase 4.
