Recommendation

We recommend the following language be used for the Copyright Statement on the Resource Sharing and Digitization Forms. The language was taken from the copyright statements previously used by all campuses.

How to configure the declaration in each campus IZ

This work will need to be done by either an IC, or a Fulfillment and ILL FG member with the right configuration permissions.

1. Check to make sure the following configurations from this decision page have been completed. (Post Go-Live) Policies for Resource Sharing Forms The configuration instructions for this decisions page include a setting that already makes the statement/checkbox visible and mandatory.  

2. In Alma, proceed to: (Configuration Menu > Fulfillment > Copyright Management > Copyright Declaration)

3. For the following:

1. Click on Customize

2. Past the harmonized copyright statement from above into the Content part of the page

3. Click Customize to save
