FY22/23 provided for reference. Page numbers forthcoming. Resource sharing has a deadline of 12/6. FY2023-2024 tab provides a high-level summary. Green & red font text not going to be included in final version.

Each campus tab contains a table of contents. Below that is a high-level snapshot of last year’s and this year’s data. ACRL, ARL, UCOP data all provided.

Print monographs (only) is included in response to question 40A for ACRL. Print serial volumes got included last year, but are being dropped this year. (We had followed ARL/UCOP definition last year.)

Question: Which definition should we use for Q40A this year? Should we have systemwide decision, or let each campus make independent decision? A couple of us spoke up for a systemwide decision. Action: We will check in on this question at next meeting.

ACRL Instructions

• Anna completed comparison of instructions from FY 2023 and FY 2024

• What definition should be used for ACRL question 40A Physical Books (Holdings)?

  1. In FY23, we used the UCL/UCOP Volumes count (based on a modified version ARL definition - includes both print monographs and print serials).

  2. We could have a group decision for a single harmonized approach; or campuses could make individual decisions about which approach they want to use.
