  • WorldCat cleanup projects. Recently I submitted a request to OCLC QC to remove a lot of 506 fields that were institution-specific. We’ve also received some suggestions for 856 fields that are problematic and should be deleted (from Alma, but also from WorldCat) (Many of them have blank indicators, so were let through the norm rule.) Is there any role for RM-OST in collecting suggestions like this?

Questions from Mahjabeen:

1. 024 with indicator 8 is expected to come before the indicator 7 or not or doesn’t matter?

2. The marc files don’t contain PQ URL. Would you like to have the url in 856?
