1	Updates/announcements (Please add in advance)	Share information	10 min.	All	Start recording! UCD: Recruiting a Metadata Strategy Specialist (job posting) UCLA: WorldCat cleanup projects. Recently I submitted a request to OCLC QC to remove a lot of 506 fields that were institution-specific. We’ve also received some suggestions for 856 fields that are problematic and should be deleted (from Alma, but also from WorldCat) (Many of them have blank indicators, so were let through the norm rule.) Is there any role for RM-OST in collecting suggestions like this? I attended yesterday’s session on How to receive MARC records for your U.S. government document titles from OCLC. ELUNA learns 2024 - Alma Analytics Includes session: Looking for Trouble: Using Alma Analytics To Find Problems in Your Catalog	Concerns about unwanted local data in 856: review the data in Alma once completing the 9XX cleanup. Gov docs records: currently loaded by CDL Op Center but RM-OST set up the import profile. Will need to find out the scope of the collection NZ expanded access: The group has just started to work on reviewing and incorporating the feedback received into the revision. SCP asked to be kept informed of the group’s discussions, decisions, etc.

BP approved Implementation is optional-- campus decides whether or when to do a project Who maintains the list? – @Adam Baron will update it when the doc is shared; ongoing maintenance is TBD but CMCKG for now. yes, we plan to host an open session.	@TJ Kao will add the doc under Policy and Practices Pages. @TJ Kao will send out an announcement to SILS-COHORT-L.	Will the updates come through WDU? --may not (due to multi match, holdings not attached, etc.) which is why manual export is recommended
3	Review of the latest version of ETD MARC records from Mahjabeen	Verify if the result is satisfactory	30 min.	All	Google Folder to the latest version of sample records: Files Comments Questions from Mahjabeen: 024 with indicator 8 is expected to come before the indicator 7 or not or doesn’t matter? -- Doesn’t matter The marc files don’t contain PQ URL. Would you like to have the url in 856? -- No For one of abstracts, the corrected doc file has edits for non-ascii characters. Can someone clarify.
