Discovery will be coming up with recommendations for the “Exclude eBooks from CDI results” option and will be consulting with other teams. CJK reindexing is resuming this weekend with UCB and NZ on 8/25. Met with Gem and Alison (along with TJ, Liz, and Ryan) to test out WCU “New” and “Merges” files in the sandbox. Seemed to go really well. Adam (UCB) UCB updated holdings records and relabeled approximately 1,900 volumes in the main stacks to change obsolete .Nx Cutter numbers to .Bx Cutter numbers. Nx Cutter Project - Procedure Nx Cutter Project - Mapping	WCU: how does the merge file process work?-- 1. import profile-- 2. collect multi-matches --3. run another import profile to combine them Not very clear how it works along with “update” files; what “New” files do Documentation re: profile settings, etc.: WorldCat Daily Updates Some campuses are interested in reviewing the files-- possibly setting up a demo in NZ? Next step: co-chairs continue to work with CDL; more discussion at next meeting

4	MARCIVE records vs. CZ collection		10 mins	Shi	See email from 8/16. CZ collection now had ~25K portfolios (up from 3K), resulting in duplicated search results. ExL is in process of enhancing CZ records with GPO data.	Duplication examples have been shared. Volunteered to lead a resource management “huddle” at the conference--an unstructured 45 minute session. They provided some prompts, but any particular hot topics to suggest?
