Exporting WorldCat records

While working on ACTL, TJ discovered URIs associated with access points disappear from some Alma records due to record overlay, e.g. OCN 1458973372. After some investigation, TJ learned it has something to do with UCLA’s copy cataloging workflow.

“Modern MARC” records from LC (see documents from the latest BIBFRAME Forum). Is anyone planning on doing similar things with their MARC cataloging (e.g. not use 6XX form subdivisions and use 655 fields instead)? Will there be any significant effects on display and discovery?
