• Some technical issues and many communication issues in first two weekends of rollout (UCD; UCSB/UCSC/UCI)

• UCI/UCM/UCSD supposed to go this coming weekend.

• Testing folder - can we decide on some best practices for the upcoming tests?

  • Test the Friday before the reindex and the Monday after?

  • Combined results has been identified as an issue.

  • UCB may go after Sandbox refresh, same as NZ, so the data may out of sync with Production, UCB oaky with it. Hermine will let Caitlin know if if they are aware this situation

• Standardized Holdings Policies? is there a reason to do a day 1 for UC to go with standardized practice?

  • This is UCSD did, it is chipping away. Ryan can share UCSD’s proposal (several years old) if anyone interested --yes

  • UCB: workload concern

  • UCSB: yes, it would be huge undertaking, but would help holding report

  • seems like not interested to take on this task right now

Reviewed from parking lot and added the following to the work plan

• Added a new task to address local 95x-99X field in the NZ: set the target date Oct. 31, 2023, medium --review norm rule and merge rule, with possible campus cleanup

• Added a new task to investigate new functionality for record retention in the NZ: set the target date Dec. 31, 2023 and medium. Adam suggest make it wait out a bit in case there are bugs

• Added task to check NZ records lacking OCLC numbers (refer to records marked for deletion but have inventory attached: may need to see the scope of the project before making decision

• May continue to explore ideas on information sharing session: limited search functionality below is a good topic

• Alma August release has five CZ “Managed by Community” collections where portfolios can be deleted by everyone

• Interest in session answering questions on how campuses decide when or why to use CZ

Limited Search Functionality in Alma and Analytics

• EL has been asked repeatedly to index all MARC fields. There is a limit on the number of local parameters we can set up, and there is a need to identify data that is not indexed (example, content type)

• Alma Idea Exchange: Add 880 field to the Bibliographic Details dimension table in Analytics

Evaluate and refine WDU configuration
