We would like to see if we can become admins to create this space, in particular we would like to be able to create a “hidden” (restricted) space, so that we can flesh out the training space without making it live. Do we need to submit a plan to the PMs?
6	Accessibility and SILS		10	Brian	Brian (and Sylvia) attended a UC Berkeley WebNet meeting on Zoom accessibility. It was great and there are a few key takeaways: We should be asking if people require accommodations If someone requests an accommodation, we have to provide it. This includes if they request an ASL interpreter or CC, we can’t choose which to provide, they do Should set expectations for when to have accommodations requested by Auto-captions are not sufficient to meet accessibility standards, but are useful (particularly if you enable the live transcript, which shows who is talking and was much better than just the captions) They generally do not revise the automatically generated transcript unless someone complains or they know it is poor quality
