TJ (UCD):

• Updates from 2024-07-30 SILS All Chairs meeting: Alma/Primo VE contract renewal is underway; FY24/25 will be a “transformation” year for UC to focus on making the best out of what Alma/Primo VE offer; work plan review among teams

Hermine (UCLA):

• Back from long vacation; still catching up.

• The August Alma release (currently in PSB) has a new filter for NZ linked records in the Authority Control Task List (instead of only being able to see IZ-only records). Hard to test in the sandbox, but it does look really promising.

Shi (SCP/CDL)

• JSTOR DDA Transition

  • Transition started on Monday, July 29

  • Received official word from GOBI yesterday that transition was completed

  • CDL ERT/SCP started the process of checking access and reconciliation

  • CDL will provide communicate to SCLG and campuses

• NZ Expanded Access feedback: received invitation to provide feedback on NZ expanded access for OA monographs with deadline of August 1: CDL requires extension for a month and haven’t heard back yet.

Marcia (UCSC)

• Chloe Noland, Cataloging Specialist, joined the MS Department on July 15. Chloe is on the Editorial Board for Homosaurus
