Objective: State the purpose of the group in 25 words or less (brief, energizing). 

Collegially and collaboratively dissect and analysis complex policy, practice, and workflow procedures disputed by members of functional groups and provide decisions with

clear systematic methodology using open-minded and community-centric decision making. [TM entered 5/1/20]

Achieve the One University, One Library vision by embracing working in shared files, leading others there, and resolving any challenges. [JRiemer entered 5/4/20]

Roles: What are the duties needed to get the work done? Who will take notes? Who will keep meetings on track/time? Who is responsible for tracking actions?

Build meeting agenda -

Track status of action items -

What are our expectations for working together? Create a list of statements that the team agrees to uphold. For example, ask yourself: How do we make this group a safe space for transparent discussion (knowing that it might become contentious, and avoid back-channeling)? What are our ground rules for meetings? How do we ensure everyone is engaged? How do we ensure everyone has a voice? How will we resolve disagreements?

Trust each other. Have confidence that the issues discussed will be kept in confidence

Support each other and be genuine with each other about ideas, challenges, and feelings

Come prepared for the meetings and discussions

Be accountable and responsible for the team and to the team. If commit to doing something, will do it

Be open-minded and honesty is cherished
