3 | “NZ - Customer 3rd Party Integration Template ” /Integrating Remote Digital Repositories into Alma (Here’s the specific question: “This integration allows you to integrate local Digital Asset Management System (such as Rosetta or DSpace) with Alma. All items (physical, electronic, and digital) can therefore be catalogued in one place and managed by one staff. At this stage, the synchronization is one-way only: metadata is sent from the local Digital Asset Management (DAM) System to Alma.”) | Identify what actions we need to take in order to supply this information by 5/29/2020. One possibility is that we craft a Decision document capturing all of our questions and the other SILS groups (and any other groups) that should be consulted. NOTE: After consulting with project managers, what is needed here is a first/best guess from Vanguard participants, not a firm decision. | 20 | Lisa | CDL ( and maybe other Vanguard institutions?) have to fill out an integration template by 5/29, including identifying any repositories that should be integrated into Alma. There are likely many benefits and constraints from this decision, and should probably also include input from any affected campus ,Shared Cataloging, Resource Management, etc. | ||
