Timekeeper: Sarah Lindsey Going to be De Gruyter ebook trial, for 6 months. Been some last minute changes, so been delayed. Formal announcement coming once it’s ready. Gobi: received records for 3 publishers for 21 & 22, going to continue with 23. Planning on retrospective of 22 - comparing publisher list against what we got from Gobi. Purchased 23 Springer front file, but haven’t gotten them from Gobi yet. Springer did turn on access. PPT orientation to broad topics within this deliverable Language: Be clear when discussing perpetual access vs post-cancellation access (often used interchangeably) Data used for business decisions like cancelling print subscriptions or retaining old print copies, or negotiation/pricing decisions Exercise: asking ourselves a few questions: How many titles do we have, and how many are securely backed up by 3rd party preservation? How many staff do we have dedicated to e-resources/serials?

local discussion: View of perpetual access as either post-cancellation access vs. long-term preservation bigger questions are interesting, but scope of this group is Alma, so issues around long-term preservation might be outside scope. Still need guidance on best practices for recording post-cancellation access in Alma Issues with title changes/other metadata issues that make it more difficult to make decisions Staffing issues make it more difficult to do the initial work for recording data, in order to facilitate business decisions later on
