4	Exclude eBooks from CDI Results with Gem Stone-Logan (DISC)		25		Disc is looking at pros & cons of this setting, unsure at this point if we’ll harmonize Documentation Testing doc from discovery if you have portfolios for a collection: it's not supposed to show CDI for the ebooks if you DON'T have portfolios for the collection: It is supposed to still show CDI for the ebooks If you have a list of portfolios in a collection but it's spotty (missing titles) and CDI has more ebooks, CDI won't fill in the gaps. It will completely ignore the collection. They have identified some spotty collections. If an item is listed as a dissertation and not an ebook, it's not excluded. Overall it does reduce duplication (good). Some cases they can’t determine why dups weren’t reduced. concerns: whether it's removing things we don't expect or are unaware of
