Recommendation

All chairs recommends to place all 100 consortial ELUNA/IGeLU votes on item 11: “Improve letter editing functionality”.

Reasoning

The item 11, “Improve letter editing functionality”, provides the most benefit most widely to UC. All OST chairs identified that this enhancement would provide benefit to all UC staff and patrons as related to their sub team focus.

The other three items did not have as much or as wide positive impact to the UCs.

Background

SILS Operations team requested All Chairs to discuss items from ELUNA/IGeLU “2022 Alma Enhancements Voting Round 2” list and decide a single item to place all 100 consortial votes.

From the list of 20 items, All Chairs narrowed down four potential items:

item 11: “Improve letter editing functionality”
item 13: “Add support for dynamic collections that are automatically updated using logical sets”
item 17: “Activation of e-resources in the Network Zone based on IMGs”
item 19: “Revised title: Add “Not contains” or “Not equals” to Alma titles and inventory search indexes where “contains” or “equals” currently exist. (Original title: Adding "Does not contain"and "not" search option in Alma)”
